Washington Health Benefit Exchange Board certifies 2025 Washington Healthplanfinder™ plans
Exchange board certified 74 health and nine dental plans to be sold on Washington Healthplanfinder during open enrollment from Nov. 1–Jan. 15, 2025
Washington Health Benefit Exchange (Exchange) CEO Ingrid Ulrey issued a statement about health and dental plans approved by the Exchange Board.
“Earlier today, the Exchange board certified 74 health and nine dental plans from 11 carriers to be sold on during open enrollment, which begins November 1st. Federal and state subsidies help Washingtonians who struggle to secure health insurance, including those who don’t have employer-based coverage and who are not eligible for government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid.
“The Office of the Insurance Commissioner has approved an average rate increase of 10.7%,” she continued. “While health care costs continue to increase, Washington Healthplanfinder is the only place where Washington customers can receive federal tax credits and Cascade Care Savings, the state subsidy which helps lower monthly premiums.”

Reminders: Enrollment is offered year-round to individuals and families through Washington Apple Health (Medicaid). Customers enrolled in Apple Health will receive a notice 60 days before the month they enrolled in or renewed their coverage last year.
