Across Washington, all types of organizations work with the Washington Health Benefit Exchange to make health coverage more affordable for their communities. These entities are known as “sponsors.”
Sponsors can subsidize all or part of eligible customers’ monthly premiums for coverage purchased through Washington Healthplanfinder.
In general, sponsors fall into one of three categories:

Nonprofit Organizations and Private Foundations
The Exchange is open to working with any organization interested in paying health care costs on behalf of qualified individuals. Organizations could include nonprofit entities, philanthropic organizations, private donors, foundations, trade associations and unions.
