As of Nov. 1, 2024, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients and other people with qualifying immigration statuses can access federal savings through Washington Healthplanfinder.

Individuals and families do not have to be U.S. citizens to get health insurance through Washington Healthplanfinder.

Medicaid unwind

More than a quarter of Washington’s residents rely on Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) to pay for their health care. As of April 1, 2023, regular eligibility checks, which were paused for three years during the COVID-19 pandemic, resumed.
