Amy Ferris

Amy Ferris joins the Exchange with over 30 years of experience in Washington state government in the areas of finance, contracts, grant management and government and partner relations.

Previously, Amy worked for the Washington State Department of Health for 30 plus years, where she held the positions of chief financial officer,  accounting and grant services director, budget and operations director, lead budget analyst and others, where she led transformative funding strategies and operational improvements to support the mission of the agency.

In her career, Amy has consistently embraced challenges as opportunities for growth, finding strength in innovative problem-solving, devising effective solutions and bringing a human-centered approach to her leadership to lead teams to support organizational success. She has a passion for giving back to her community through service in her career and volunteering
