MaryAnne Lindeblad

Appointed by Gov. Bob Ferguson in January 2025, MaryAnne Lindeblad serves as HCA’s interim director, bringing decades of leadership and expertise to Washington’s largest health care purchaser. Previously, she served as HCA’s Medicaid Director from 2013 until her retirement in 2021.

MaryAnne leads an agency of more than 1,900 employees, focusing HCA’s work on equity and transforming the health care delivery system. She oversees executive leadership and guides the agency’s vision to ensure that Washington residents have access to high-quality, affordable health care.

MaryAnne is passionate about advancing access to health care and improving the health of all Washingtonians. Her dedication to public service stems from a belief that health care should be a foundation for opportunity and well-being.
