If coverage was considered unaffordable for you, you may qualify for an exemption from the fine (sometimes called the "penalty" or "individual mandate"). Instructions:

1. The tool can be used to calculate 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 federal poverty level. 
2. Select the size of your household.
3. Enter a yearly income or monthly income. The other values will be calculated for you.
