Len Sorrin

Len was appointed by Governor Inslee to the Washington Health Benefit Exchange Board of Directors in September 2023.  Prior to his retirement in late 2019, Len led Congressional and Legislative Affairs at Premera Blue Cross, where he was responsible for legislative healthcare policy in Washington and Alaska, as well as on the federal level.  Over the years, Len’s legislative work included Affordable Care Act and Exchange Implementation; Health Plan Benefits; Provider Networks; Public Programs (SEBB/PEBB); Public Option legislation; Individual Market Access; Stability and Affordability; and Health Care Cost and Quality.  Prior to his years in legislative affairs, Len was a member of the Premera Blue Cross Legal Department.
