Susan Birch

Susan Birch was appointed as head of HCA in October 2017 by Gov. Inslee and will joined as an ex officio member of the board. She previously served  executive director of the Colorado Department of Health Policy and Financing. Over the past six years she has overseen public insurance, health delivery and policy development, and implementation of the Affordable Care Act in Colorado, most recently serving as a Board member of the Colorado state exchange
